Please help our appeal by donating unwanted stationary items
30 December 2011
Donate a pen - help a child gain an education.
Do you have pens just sitting in your kitchen drawer?
Did you receive any unwanted stationary items for Christmas?
Do you get free pens through the post and just throw them in the bin?
Do you want to help underprivileged children gain access to education overseas?
If the answer to these is YES please donate them to the “Pens for Kids” appeal.
Pens for Kids is trying to help kids around the world, by removing one of the hurdles on their way to an education - the cost of a pen!
Pens for Kids is a not for profit organisation. All donations received are totally used to send pens/stationary abroad. They have no paid employees and make no profits.
Until February 29th we will be collecting pens, pencils, rulers and other stationary items (not wax crayons) at Beechwood Veterinary Hospital on Bawtry Road. These will be sent to Pens for Kids UK for distribution to various countries around the world.
Donations towards the cost of shipping to Africa would also be welcome.
Please help this very worthy charity by donating today.
Many thanks for your support
