Senior Pet Care
As our patients enter into their senior years it is not uncommon for age related conditions such as arthritis, heart disease, dental disease and cancer to develop. It is therefore important that we closely monitor senior patients and perform regular examinations such that we can detect and treat these conditions as early as possible. At the annual vaccination a full clinical examination will be performed however it is advised that senior patients are examined more frequently. Senior patient consultations are available throughout the day. These allow the Veterinary Surgeon to discuss preventative healthcare and if necessary blood tests or further examinations to help your pet enter into its senior years in as healthy and happy way as possible.
