Eric Rouviere

Eric graduated with honours in 2003 from “Complutense” University of Madrid. During his last 2 years of study at the Vet School in Madrid, he did an internship in small animal surgery and anaesthesia and we was given a grant to study urinary tract diseases in dogs through the use of endoscopy. After graduating, he worked in Madrid for 6 months and then decided to move to the United Kingdom in April 2004. At that time, he joined the team at Beechwood Veterinary Hospital. His main interest is Surgery, especially, soft tissue surgery and after two years of further study, he achieved the Certificate in Small Animal Surgery for General Practitioners (GPCertSAS). After 4 years of intesive study he has gained the Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, awarded by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (CertSAS)The high standards of work and the veterinary premises here at Beechwood along with the highly trained and dedicated nursing staff have provided the necessary support for this quality of work.
Eric continues improving his knowledge by attending regular courses both here in the UK and abroad.
