Laura McLean
BA, DVM, MRCVS
Laura graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She worked in small animal practice in the United States for three years before moving to England in 2002. Laura accepted a position at Beechwood in 2004 where she developed a special interest in ophthalmology (medicine and surgery of eyes). She currently attends various ophthalmology courses to further her knowledge in the subject as well as spending time on a monthly basis observing practice with a Specialist in ophthalmology in Birmingham. She is currently working toward her RCVS certificate in veterinary ophthalmology and plans on submitting her case work and sitting her exam in 2009.
